A Letter from the Pastor

Wild Peach Baptist Church has been part of the Brazosport area for nearly 60 years. Our history is rich in revivals, local evangelism, and world wide missions. Down through the years notable men of God, who have boldly preached the gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world, have graced the pulpit of the Wild Peach Baptist Church. It is our desire to continue our rich history by faithfully teaching and preaching the Word of God in this generation.

When you visit our church, we believe you will find a friendly church. There is a warmth and friendliness that characterizes all of our services, and we truly try to extend good old southern hospitality to all who attend. We sing many of the old hymns and gospel choruses, and formalism is shunned in the conduct of our worship.

We are also a family church. By that we mean that we desire to minister to the needs of the entire family. We have a graded Sunday school program for toddlers through high school. Our nurseries are a pleasant, clean environment for newborns through age three. We also have an active teen department and a growing adult Sunday school class. During the worship service on Sunday morning, we also have a special service for children up through the sixth grade. We are striving to build a well-rounded program of biblical instruction that will meet the needs of all who attend our church.

It is also our desire that we be a faithful church. Our chief responsibility is to preach and teach the Word of God. We always want to be doctrinally faithful to the Scriptures because we know that it is only through biblical preaching that souls can be helped and lives changed. It is the Word of God that has the power to transform a life, and there is no substitute for the proper interpretation and application of the Bible.

So, if you are hungering and thirsting for the “sincere milk of the Word,” then we truly believe that Wild Peach Baptist Church is the place for you. Thank you for visiting our web site. We hope that you will take the time to review it fully, and then come and see us in person.

God bless you,

Pastor Brandon Graham
